Angelic Recovery Ministry (A.R.M.) is a structured, 12-month residential recovery program for men seeking freedom from addiction and destructive life patterns. Many participants enter through partnerships with Tennessee Drug Courts and alternative sentencing programs, while others come voluntarily seeking a new direction in life.

A.R.M. operates under a peer-led, faith-based model designed to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of each resident.

We believe lasting transformation happens when structure, accountability, work, and spiritual formation work together.

Our Mission

A.R.M. exists to reach men suffering from Substance Use Disorder by “throwing the rope” — providing structure, accountability, and Christ-centered support to help men climb out of addiction and into meaningful recovery, spiritual growth, and restored life.

Our Foundation

A.R.M. operates under the Christian foundation of Angelic Ministries International. We believe:

  • Lasting transformation comes through Jesus Christ.
  • Recovery requires humility, honesty, surrender, and accountability.
  • Scripture, worship, prayer, and Christian community are central to healing.
  • Service to others is a critical part of recovery.

Participation in spiritual formation activities is required regardless of prior faith background.

A.R.M. is a structured, full-year residential program with clearly defined expectations.

8:00 AM – 1:30 PM (Warehouse)
2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (Group/Class)

6:30 PM – 8:00 PM (Group Counseling)

Wednesday
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Warehouse)

Thursday
8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Warehouse) (Individual Counseling)
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (Celebrate Recovery / Small Group)

Friday
Normally Off (May include appointments, meetings, or assignments)

Saturday
8:00 AM – 1:00 PM (Warehouse / Saturday Service Preparation)

Sunday
Church Attendance (Times and Locations vary)

In addition to the above schedule, residents participate in:

  • Daily devotions
  • Chapel services
  • Bible studies
  • Recovery groups
  • ANETS trade training (pre-apprenticeship curriculum)
  • Jobs for Life workforce development
  • Evening classes and group meetings at the living facility

Residents clock in and out daily and are evaluated on work performance, growth, and responsibility.

A.R.M. is a 12-month residential program with limited capacity (12 beds).

Residents live in a structured communal environment (“The Ranch”) with:

  • Shared housing
  • Chore assignments
  • Cleanliness inspections
  • Curfew and lights-out expectations
  • Peer accountability structure

90-Day Probation Period

The first 90 days are probationary.

During this time:

  • Random drug testing occurs
  • Privileges are limited
  • No leadership roles are assigned
  • Behavior, attitude, and sobriety are closely evaluated

Continuation beyond probation depends on demonstrated stability and compliance.

Residents agree to:

  • A $5,000 program fee (payable prior to entry, during the program, or within agreed-upon terms)
  • Reimbursement of any real monies paid on their behalf for fines or fees
  • Application of any funds received during residency (tax returns, stimulus checks, inheritance, etc.) toward program fees

PACE Initiative

Residents may reduce program fees through performance and participation in structured work initiatives that reward growth, responsibility, and service.

Financial agreements must be signed prior to admission.

All residents sign a formal Covenant Agreement outlining standards for participation.

Residents must:

  • Maintain complete sobriety
  • Submit to random drug testing
  • Follow staff instructions respectfully
  • Accept correction without hostility or manipulation
  • Participate in daily devotions, chapel, and recovery programming
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene
  • Respect staff and peers
  • Avoid romantic or sexual relationships during residency
  • Avoid gambling, pornography, and contraband

Discipline Process

Violations may result in:

  • Verbal warning
  • Written warning
  • Behavioral contract
  • Loss of privileges
  • Extended probation
  • Immediate discharge (for serious violations)

Serious violations include:

  • Violence or threats
  • Drug or alcohol possession or use
  • Theft
  • Repeated defiance of authority

Leadership retains discretion in all disciplinary decisions.

Applicants may be declined or deferred based on:

  • Active addiction requiring detox (detox must be completed prior to admission)
  • Violent offense history (case-by-case review)
  • Sexual offense history (registry screening required)
  • Drug trafficking history (case-by-case review)
  • Severe untreated psychiatric instability
  • Pattern of authority resistance or manipulation identified in evaluation process

All applicants undergo:

  • Criminal background check
  • Sex offender registry check
  • DSM5 screening
  • Structured interview evaluation
  • Team review and acceptance decision

A.R.M. does not function as a detox center or psychiatric hospital.

A.R.M. follows a structured four-phase model:

  1. Pre-Take (Application & Screening)
  2. Intake (30-Day Orientation & Placement)
  3. Partake Phase (Core 12-Month Program)
  4. The Exchange (Transition & Reintegration)

Residents complete approximately 9 months of structured warehouse service followed by a transition period into part-time employment and reintegration while maintaining program accountability.

A.R.M. is designed for men who are ready—not just required—to change.

  • Ownership of addiction patterns and relapse triggers
  • Willingness to accept correction
  • Ability to live in structured community
  • Spiritual openness and sincerity
  • Commitment to the full 12-month process

Applicants are evaluated through:

  • Formal application and DSM5 assessment
  • Background and safety screening
  • Structured recovery and spiritual interview
  • Scored evaluation of readiness and community fit

Men who are motivated only by court pressure or temporary housing needs may not yet be ready for this level of commitment.
